Noche del Fuego, meaning “Night of Fire,” is an exotic scent inspired by an idyllic escape to Majorca, Spain.

 

The Notes: Bergamot gains unexpected depth when mixed with Patchouli and an exotic blend of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Honey spiked with Paprika and Saffron and the warm/cool of Black Pepper.

The Journey: Kim created this intense fragrance after a trip to Majorca, Spain which began in a former 13th Century Palace tucked in ancient Mediterranean hillside and included an unforgettable night on stage, in the middle of bronzed Spaniards beating their drums and encircling her in fire.

 

 

 

The Assortment:

  • Noche del Fuego Eau de Parfum ($155, 100mL) – a seductive and mysterious, exotic fragrance made with 18% oil concentrate.
  • Sample set of 3 Mini Spray Vials ($10, 2mL) – vials of each fragrance (Doux Amour, Noche del Fuego and Sole Nero).
Packaging: Eau de Parfum comes in a square, Italian glass bottle accented with an exotic bronze pattern inspired by well-traveled pieces of metal jewelry and art that Kim has acquired during her travels. The round cap shape on each bottle adds softness and is reminiscent of an old bottle stopper. Red was chosen as the color for the outer packaging for its warmth and passion.

The Spadaro Foundation 
For every purchase of a Spadaro product, a percent will go to “The Spadaro Foundation.” The foundation was created as a tribute to those whom have touched her life and the passing of her dear mother on 1/1/11. Being able to pursue her passion and fateful dream of creating a perfume, she pays it forward, by honoring those whom selflessly inspire others!

 

 

 

Kim Spadaro’s Story:

Kim was raised in a very loving home in Jacksonville, Florida. Kim’s mother was her greatest teacher, encouraging her children to be open canvases of self-expression. Her mother was an artist, carpenter, seamstress and jewelry maker who filled their home with eclectic décor; scented candles and music always wafted throughout. Her mother’s led them to explore all forms of creativity. With the desire for customization, Kim often mixed her own lip colors by melting down lipstick bullets and personalized store-bought perfumes with patchouli and musk. She dried herbs and citrus fruits, and burned incense and candles to create aromas that matched her moods – all the groundwork of her lifelong love of aromatherapy. Her mother even taught her to concoct skin-purifying masks and cleansers using fresh produce from their garden and helped them alter their clothes to make each piece unique.

Even as a child, her interest was always in creating captivating environments. A desire to re-invent her surroundings to reflect her personal style led her to decorate my room in various themes from an African motif with mosquito netting and wooden masks, to a Zen den based on balance. She dried herbs and citrus fruits, and burned incense and candles to create aromas that matched her moods as well. She didn’t realize it, but that was the start of a lifelong pursuit of aromatherapy, which she then incorporated into her design career. Transforming a space − from ordinary to extraordinary − through scent, lighting and music, gives her immense joy and satisfaction. As popularity of her approach to décor grew, so did demand for her scents.
