About Ricci Ackerman

Ricci Ackerman is a third generation herbalist from Germany. She combines traditional herbal knowledge with modern scientific data on herbal phytotherapy. After many years in a corporate environment, which included leading a healthcare division, Ricci practices as a therapeutic clinical herbalist, wellness mentor, aromatherapist and reflexologist in the Atlanta area. Ricci has taught and lectured on herbalism at Emory University, Alive!Expo, Bioneers, Dunwoody Nature Center, Kennesaw Community Center, and many other venues. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild, Herbnet, United Plant Savers and the Georgia Native Plant Society. She is also the community manager for the Atlanta chapter of the Indie Beauty Network. Ricci consults with small product manufacturers and helps bring their ideas to market.
