Transform from Office Chic to Nighttime Glam

Cooler weather is now upon us, so it’s the perfect time to start experimenting with your look. Working long hours during the day can be extremely tough, especially when we have to get to events or get-togethers straight from the office. Here are some easy steps that you can take in the mornings that make for an easy transition for your night out after work!

Hair:
One of the top hair styles for this season is the sleek top knot bun. This is an easy way to look put-together and doesn’t take much time. The best thing about buns is that once your shift at work has ended, you can take out the bun and to reveal soft waves perfect for your evening out.
* Be sure to bring a shine serum to finish off the glamour transformation and tame any frizz.

Another great look for both day and night is the sleek pony. Having your hair pulled back at the office keeps your hair out of your face looks very professional. For nighttime add some serum onto your hair for a touch up and you will be all set!

Makeup:
Waking up early and doing a full – on makeup application is probably one of the last things you want to do, but using just a few items can make a big difference. Try just adding some under-eye concealer that is a shade lighter than your skin tone. This will brighten up your face and hide any dark circles/ bags that you have from staying up late, working too hard, or that are just hereditary. Add some powder that matches your skin-tone to even out your complexion and mattify shiny areas. Add a touch of pinky/peach blush on the apples of your cheeks just to give your face a bit of a glow. For the eyes, keep it simple and just add a neutral shadow with some mascara. For the lips, use a “your lips but better” type of color to look natural and polished.

If you have a special date planned after work, you only need a few things to bring with you:
– Dark brown eyeshadow
– Black Eyeliner
– Mascara/Eye lash curler
– Red lipstick
– Powder

Add some of the dark brown shadow to your crease area to add definition and depth to your eyes. Pop on your favorite black eyeliner to your water line and tight line to give the illusion of thicker lashes. Touch up your mascara and use an eyelash curler if needed. Lightly dust on some more powder to any areas that you need extra coverage Then use your favorite red lipstick to bring the whole look of glam together!
