Crafting Beauty took top honors in the\u00a0Fragrance Package Design Innovation<\/strong>\u00a0category in this year\u2019s ICMAD \u201c2012 CITY AWARDS\u201d event held at the Manhattan Penthouse venue.<\/p>\n

The package called\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s Me\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>was created by the French perfume house Jacomo in an IPhone shape. States Francois Damide President of Crafting Beauty, \u201cThe packaging is unique in the fragrance packaging field and very much in tune with today\u2019s love for electronics. It has done well at retail with stores such as Henri Bendel, Kuhl-Linscomb, www.b-glowing.com\/jacomo<\/a>, Fred Segal, Stanley Korshak, Co Bigelow, New London, to name a few.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because of this breakthrough product and its attractive retail price of $45.00 (1.7 Oz),\u00a0Jacomo<\/strong>\u00a0is now reaching a new target of 15 to 25 years old trendsetters.<\/p>\n

About Jacomo<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the late 60\u2019s, an American art collector James Kaplan and French pianist Gerard Courtin met in New York to open a fashion accessories boutique on Fifth Avenue. They named their brand\u00a0Jacomo: Ja<\/strong>\u00a0for James, Co for Courtin and Mo to give the name a musical touch. Their\u00a0Jacomo\u00a0<\/strong>boutique soon became a hot spot for New York\u2019s fashionistas and jet setters.<\/p>\n

Always passionate about the arts, they discovered a new passion for perfumery. The first\u00a0Jacomo\u00a0<\/strong>perfume,\u00a0Eau Cendr\u00e9e\u00a0<\/strong>was launched in 1970.
