Find out what happens when East and West collaborate for a barbering education experience that will showcase modern clipper techniques October 21-22, 2012, on the main stage at Premiere Birmingham. Andis Clipper Company will feature the “Best of Both Worlds in Clipper Cutting” with barber/stylist Rodrick Samuels of Charleston, SC and barber/colorist Elijah Mack of Portland, OR.

 

Together, Rodrick and Elijah will demonstrate techniques using the newest clippers, trimmers and blades from Andis to create cutting edge styles that will leave stylists and salon clients with a new appreciation for clipper cutting and styling.

 

Rodrick Samuels

Known as an “eductainer,” Rodrick combines teaching with a flair for entertaining. As the founder of Profile Barbers Institute in South Carolina, he keeps students interested in learning by instilling a strong sense of pride for the barbering and styling industry. The skills he teaches will allow the salon professional to provide clipper cuts to all hair types with confidence.

 

Elijah Mack

Elijah’s mix of urban style and punk rock attitude offers a fiery display of professionalism with an artistic edge. His approachable demeanor creates a comfortable atmosphere for students to absorb the knowledge and techniques that Elijah passionately shares with his audience.
